Winter club project – Wild Hog

The Wild Hog is a simple flat panel of coroplast with a mid wing electric motor and 9 inch prop. It uses standard electric motor, ESC, two servos and assemblies with Welder adhesive.

WILD HOG – parts

This is the setup for my Wild Hog and it flies very well. Will fly right out of my hand.

Flight times are more that 5 minutes.

The coroplast – Dennis has two 4x8 foot sheets – political campaign signs.

Downspout – cheap at Menards.

Glue - “Welder” brand for coroplast

Plastic edging - $3 for 10foot strip at Menards.

I suggest that we gather at my home this winter (when it is really cold) and create Wild Hog kits. We can then have RC combat in the spring. We can even do some RC bowling.
