Fellow Flyers,

I use a ceramic serving dish to charge my batteries, but I am not sure it would withstand the high temp of a lipo fire. I plan to change to a metal pail containing sand and cover each lipo with a sand bag when charging.  Anyone got specs on various materials and lipo fire temps?
At least place a "proper" fire extinguisher (class D metal fire) and a bucket of sand near your charging table. Class D fire extinguishers cost about $500!!!!!
