I'm probably the only one dumb enough to do this, but last week I
was putting my new trex 250 together and when I got to the servo horn
screws, I couldn't remember if they were nylon or metal shaft. Since I
had already put the horns on and set everything up, rather than check,
I figured I'll just put a dab of blue locktight on just to be on the
safe side, can't hurt.

 
Well a couple days later, I had two servos with the arms hanging loose, main shaft just snapped off sitting n my living room on the floor, not even one flight on them yet. Blue Lock Tite has Silicone in
it and eats plastic, I now have replacement gear sets coming for all my
brand new servos, lesson learned
